St. John Chrysostom Service Awards

On Sunday, November 8, 2009 the parishes of the Delaware Valley Region of the Metropolis of New Jersey gathered at the Concordville Inn for the Inaugural Saint John Chrysostom Service Awards Banquet. The purpose of this event was to honor the dedicated stewards of the communities for their hard work and service to the Church.

The Parish Council of our community unanimously approved the selection of Socratis Tsipras as our honoree. The Board of our Ladies Philoptochos Chapter selected Frieda Bell as their honoree. These two individuals were selected because of their undying love and support of the Saint Sophia Community. As a community we are grateful to our Almighty God for giving us such wonderful stewards. May he grant them many years of good health and continued service to the Church!
